Rob founded Matter Unlimited in order to harness the power of brands through advertising, digital marketing and branding to drive positive, lasting change in the world. Rob and his team launched Inside Impact, a virtual reality film series featuring global stories of social change. The first film, “Inside Impact: East Africa,” is a journey with President Clinton to the Clinton Global Initiative’s work in the region. Before founding Matter Unlimited, Rob’s Hope.Act.Change website launched for President Obama during the 2008 primaries pushed boundaries to inspire a new kind of results-driven strategic partnership between creative agencies and their clients. Under Rob’s leadership, Matter Unlimited has created powerful campaigns for client partners including Facebook, HP, UNICEF, ABC/Disney, NBC Universal, Kimpton and TED.
Outside of Matter Unlimited, Rob is a founding member of The Civic Nation Creative Alliance, the group that connects national non-profit Civic Nation to the country’s top creative talent. Rob’s passion and vision for sustainable impact also extends beyond the office – he serves as an industry expert for the United Nations Media & Social Impact Summit, PopTech, and Social Innovation Summit. Rob is a certified Shared Value Initiative Affiliate, volunteer mentor for global entrepreneurial non-profit Endeavor.org, and is also the board chair for the non-profit Lineage Project.
